A Burst of Gold

From Creative Copy Challenge #26

The morning burst of gold brings pleasure with its, “Here I am,” revelry. With the carefree innocence of a child, it skips across the open field, erupting into sixteen points of life. Stretching along a staircase of hope, it loosely flows into the afternoon, leading me home to all that I’ve missed, the food for my soul, the place of my heart.

Others are snippets I have written over time. I’m not sure they’re sweet, but they are short and cover almost any topic. I hope you enjoy.
