Where Dreams and Messages Collide

July 29, 2012 By Cathy Miller 6 Comments

Have you ever had one of those Twilight Zone moments? You know, when signs align into a message that is hard to ignore.

Where dreams and messages collide.

Sunday Morning Musings

I woke early this morning, as I often do, even though it’s a Sunday morning.

I was trying to decide where to put my gift from my sister. It’s the Do What You Love plaque. My sister alwasys knows the perfect gift.

I decided I wanted it on my desk, within eyesight, for a visual nudge when I need it.

Sitting next to it was my book of Positive Quotations.

  • It has a positive quotation for each day of the year
  • I hadn’t opened it for some time
  • I had a bookmark I gave my Dad inside

I opened the book to the bookmark and it opened to July 29th – today’s date.

I know – goosebump moment.

Here is the quote for the day ~

“I couldn’t wait for success, so I went ahead without it.”

Jonathan Winters

The author talks about how we often are “waiting for success.” We put off for a better time the dreams we have for our lives.

Guilty, as charged. How about you?

I’ve been feeling unsettled lately – that life is passing me by feeling. Perhaps it’s been too much work or a need to reconnect to what’s inside.

I love that on this quiet Sunday morning, my dreams and message collided.

And it’s all the more special because the message came from my family.

    Okay yea, goosebumps!

Sounds to me like it’s time you had a few “What the hell” moments. Just try it and see what happens — you know. “Ah, what the hell” and forge in with both feet. 🙂

Guilty here, too. Have a few “me” projects sitting on a shelf. I ain’t gettin’ any younger!

I need to do something. Last night I had a dream that I am interpreting to have pretty much the same message. Of course, that could be my twisted spin. 🙂
